Like a ship
on frozen water,
my body
can’t move forward
An anchor
holds my mind too close
I can’t free myself
from the darkness below
You are the opposite of me-
you and your long-found bravery,
floating fearlessly
on the undpredictable sea
I wish to be touched
by a drop of rain,
so I can let my flowers bloom
whose seeds slumber in vain
